About the service
State registration of a religious organization is a crucial step toward obtaining legal status in Armenia. The process is regulated by the RA Law "On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations."Main Registration Requirements
After receiving the application and the necessary documents, the registering authority examines them and, within the prescribed period, makes a decision to register or reject the application. Registration can be rejected only if:
- The submitted documents are incomplete or do not comply with the requirements of the law.
-The organization's charter or activities contradict the requirements established by law.
As a result of the registration, the organization receives a certificate of state registration and can carry out full activities within the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
