First, carefully read the description — it contains information about the data to be submitted, as well as details on the application review process and deadlines. Then:

• Click the "Apply Online" button and log in via the "Yes Em" identification platform by selecting one of the offered identification options.

• Fill in the required information.

• Review the data to ensure there are no errors or missing fields. If there are, correct them.

• Click the "Submit Application" button. You will then see a message confirming that the application was successfully submitted.

On the first page of the application, in the "Applicants Information" section, you provide your contact details — phone number and email address.

At the same time, in the "Applications" section of your personal account on the platform, you can view the status updates of your application.

Keep an eye on your email to avoid missing notifications about status changes, and be attentive — some updates may require action on your part, such as editing the application.

Information submitted by a person applying for state registration or state accounting is considered reliable by the Agency. Information submitted to the Agency by persons may be deemed unreliable if there is evidence proving so or information submitted by other persons. The Agency does not verify the accuracy of the submitted information and bears no responsibility for any resulting damage. The applicant is held liable for providing false information and for damages resulting from such false information, in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

After determining the type of business, the next step is to register the business. To register a business, you must first choose its organizational and legal form, which will determine the types of taxes paid for the business in the future, the choice of participants, their rights and obligations, and the boundaries and opportunities of business activity.

The Agency records information in the unified state register only regarding the participants of limited liability companies. The Agency does not maintain the registry of joint-stock companies. Information regarding the members of commercial cooperatives is not recorded in the unified state register.

In Armenia, it is possible to register a business both online and physically.

• Currently, only private enterprises and LLC can be registered online if the registrant has an identification card and a digital signature.
• Anyone can register a business physically, including foreign citizens.

To register a business, you must apply to:

• State Register of Legal Entities Agency (Yerevan, Komitas 49/3, Vazgen Sargsyan 3),
• Regional offices of the State Register of Legal Entities Agency,
• Banks operating in the Republic of Armenia (before applying, it is necessary to check with the bank whether the given bank performs this function),
• Haypost branches.

Registration of commercial organizations takes:

• 1 business day if the founders are individuals and do not use the standard forms of documents provided for by law,

• 2 business days if there is a legal entity among the founders and they do not use the standard forms of documents provided for by law,

• registration is immediate if the registrant uses the standard forms of documents provided for by law when submitting the documents to the State Register of Legal Entities Agency.

The information required from the founders may vary depending on their citizenship and whether they are an individual or a legal entity.

In case of being a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, the founder must submit:

• passport or identification card,

• public services number.

In case of not being a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, the founder must submit:

• a copy of the identity document with a notarized translation into Armenian,

public services number.

If the founder is a legal entity registered in the Republic of Armenia, the following must be submitted:

the relevant decision of the authorized body of the legal entity on establishing a new legal entity,

and the name and state registration number of the founding legal entity.

If the founder is a foreign legal entity, the following must be submitted:

the relevant decision of the authorized body of the legal entity on establishing a new legal entity,

the name and state registration number of the legal entity. All documents must be translated into Armenian with notarization.
