The service is provided through submitting a paper application at the subdivisions of the State Register of Legal Entities under the RA Ministry of Justice

Service is available by visiting an office in person. The service is also available in person by visiting the state register.

About the service

A party acquires the status of a legal entity and receives the right to participate in referendums and elections only after state registration. The registration process is regulated by the Constitutional Law of the RA "On Parties."

Specifics of the Registration Process

  • The application and necessary documents must be submitted no later than 3 months from the date of the founding congress.
  • The registering authority (State Registry Agency) examines the documents within a one-month period and makes a decision to register or reject.
  • Registration can be rejected if the party's programmatic provisions contradict the Constitution or laws of the RA, or if the requirements established by law (e.g., the number of members) have not been maintained.
  • The legal capacity of the party arises from the moment of state registration.

  • Minutes of the Founding Congress: The minutes of the party's founding congress, containing decisions on the creation of the party and the approval of its charter and program.
  • Charter and Program: The approved charter and program of the party, which must comply with the Constitution and laws of the RA.
  • Member List: A list of the required number of members (800), including their first names, last names, and places of residence.
  • Reference on Governing Bodies: Information regarding the composition of the governing bodies.
  • State Duty Receipt: A document confirming the payment of the state duty.
